been crying for days rereading the letters. Katherine wrote Nikki while she was away in rehab and kept her informed.

Lily remembers the part in the letter where she ran into her, the twins, and her father. She feels honored that Katherine mentioned her.

Nikki insists that Lily was one of her biggest fans. She doesn’t think it was random that they started talking about Katherine the other night. She insists Katherine is guiding them.

They toast to Katherine and say how much they miss her.

Nate runs into Victor at Society. Nate is there to get a to-go order.

Victor requests for him to join him.

Nate doesn’t believe they have anything to discuss.

Victor wonders how he knows what he wants to discuss isn’t urgent.

Nate is willing to take that chance.

Billy enters as Sally descends the stairs. She says she stayed there last night.

Billy nods in understanding. He hates to ask, but wonders if she left Adam.

Sally isn’t sure where things stand between them right now.

Billy offers to buy her a coffee. Sally accepts, and the broken duo steps into the dining area.

Sally says last night was hellish.

Billy knows he made things worse.

Sally claims it led to the truth and has a flashback of Adam’s forced confession. Sally says she had to leave and give herself time to process things.

Billy admits he wants to get in Adam’s face all over again because she deserves better than being lied to. It’s disturbing how easily lying comes to him.

Sally hopes he’s not letting Chelsea off the hook because she lied, too.

Sally says Billy made it clear that he blames Adam. Chelsea is hardly innocent.

Billy apologizes again for barging in.

Sally reminds him that doesn’t acknowledge her point.

Billy agrees Chelsea is responsible for her part. He claims he and Sally are both victims.

Sally refuses to say that word. The old her would but she doesn’t work that way anymore.

Billy wishes he had that strength.

Sally wants to know if Billy thinks he can stay with Chelsea after what she’s done.

Nate relents and sits with Victor.

Victor asks how things are going at Winters now and wants to know whatever happened to his requests for Nate to go after Lily and convince her to return to Winters.

Nate recalls the request. It’s too much for Victor to think his request be carried out on demand. He insists Lily has her own mind and own goals, and it’s great since they are away from the scheming and power plays.

Victor says he should encourage her that it’s the best thing to do. He points out he knows who Nate is.

Nate doesn’t want to do this again and stands to leave.

Victor tells him to sit back down.
