Y&R Recap – Sept 13: Phyllis Makes a Pitch to Billy, Victor Stirs Trouble Between Kyle and Diane, and Audra’s Frustration Boils Over

Crimson Lights Audra is reeling after meeting with Victor.

She tries to reach Kyle. When she can’t, she insists she will track him down herself.

Jack and Diane claim they would like nothing better.

They discuss Harrison’s return to school. Claire says he’s so excited and happy.

Diane mentions how Kyle acted the same way when they were in Canada and thinks it’s a shame we lose that positive outlook on life.

Kyle sarcastically agrees. It’s a shame when people must face the real world, and that trust is shattered.

Claire intervenes and claims the real world isn’t that bad based on her experience. It’s great when you’re lucky enough to be surrounded by people who love you.

Jack says it’s lovely to see Claire out and about. He was worried they wouldn’t see her much with Harrison being back in school.

Kyle insists she will be around. She’s helping him find a new home and make kid-friendly choices. Kyle gets a text.

Jack points out his business partner is waiting for him.

Diane, Jack, Claire, Audra, and Kyle.Kyle turns and sees Audra outside the entrance looking in. He excuses himself to talk with her. 

Claire thanks Jack and Diane for their hospitality.

Jack appreciates what Claire is trying to do, but claims repairing the family rift is too big a task for any one person.

Jack. Outside, Kyle demands to know what the urgency is. 

Audra can’t believe he’d stoop so low.

Kyle plays dumb.

Audra knows he told Victor that she told Nate who their investor is.

Kyle says it sounds like she got busted not being trustworthy. There’s no need to bring him into it.

Audra isn’t stupid.

Kyle says he’s not the one deflecting. He hopes she didn’t do that with Victor because he hates when people don’t take responsibility. He’s sorry she got fired.

Audra is sorry to inform him, but she didn’t get fired.

Kyle says not yet. She screwed up royally this time, and shifting the blame won’t save her.

Victor and Billy bump into each other at the bar.

Victor wants to know why he didn’t get an invitation to the Abbott-Chancellor opening. He wonders if it was a failure to launch.
