It will be back, but not as quickly as fans may hope.
Virgin River season 5 part 1 just dropped on Netflix,
and boy, did it leave folks with quite a cliffhanger.
So many things happened to our favorite characters in the quaint California town, and where the show left off will definitely have fans begging to learn more about how everyone will deal with the outcomes of so many shocking twists.
When season 5 part 1 ended, fans saw Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) struggle to move forward after a devastating miscarriage. While the two stuck it out in the end, they also decide to try something new in their lives by buying — and repairing — Lilly (Lynda Boyd)’s farm amid a wildfire affecting Virgin River. That’s all while we see Vernon “Doc” Mullins (Tim Matheson) signing up for a medical trial that could cause him to go blind, Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale) revealing she may be pregnant with Denny Cutler (Kai Bradbury)’s baby and learning that illegal pot grower Calvin (David Cubitt) is the real father of Charmaine Roberts’ (Lauren Hammersley) twin boys.
What’s more, this is all before another plot comes to haunt Preacher (Colin Lawrence), and Mel learning that her mother had an affair with a man from the town … who also may just be her father. Talk about a major doozy happening for these folks. Essentially, this just shows we need a new set of episodes, and luckily Virgin River is already on its way with a season 6 renewal. Here’s what to know about Virgin River season 6, including cast, release date, news, spoilers and more.
