Filming for the 5th season of “Virgin River” is underway, and the crew does

not hide the fact that there will be no shortage of emotions. Recently, Alexandra Breckenridge announced strong and more intense episodes, meanwhile the atmosphere on the set seems to be truly joyful.

From time to time, behind-the-scenes photos from the 5th season of “Virgin River” appear on the series’ Instagram profile. We can see, among others, the duo of leading actors, Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson. In the finale of season 4, it turned out that Jack is the father of Mel’s child. What did the new showrunner of the series, Patrick Sean Smith, say about their future path?

In one of the photos we can also see Lizzie (Sarah Dudgle) and Denny. In the finale of season 4 of “Virgin River” it turned out that the boy is terminally ill, but there may still be a chance for a happy ending for these two.

There is also a joint photo of Preacher (Colin Lawrence), Jack and Brady (Benjamin Hollingsworth) – all holding shovels, which suggests that they will work on something together. Does this mean that they will reconcile? Hollingsworth admitted in one of the interviews that he is waiting for it:

Viewers are rooting for the relationship between Brady and Brie, but Mike is still on the horizon – and the photo below suggests that a love triangle is still possible. Meanwhile, some viewers suspect that Mike is the father of Charmaine’s children.

What else awaits us in the 5th season of the series? The new episodes are expected to be more diverse in terms of ethnicity and sexual orientation of the series’ couples, and Zibby Allen agreed with fans that a time jump would be nice. We’ll have to wait for the next series – filming is supposed to last for about a month.
