The cover-up of Anthony Fox’s murder has been chaotic – which is perhaps the biggest understatement I will make this week.
As those responsible ultimately hide the truth of what Ruby (Beth Cordingly) did and their own parts in what happened, Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) reckons he is on the case.
Determined to get answers, the interfering businessman has clocked some odd behaviour from Caleb (William Ash).
Yep, he hasn’t be able to hide his shiftiness whenever Jai gives mention of Anthony, which is a big red flag.
But there’s someone else not directly part of the murder crew who wants Jai to back off.
His ex Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) had a nasty confrontation with the predator before his disappearance.

When the leering pervert attacked Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler), Laurel was on hand to wallop him over the head.
Not wanting her own behaviour to be exposed, Laurel issues Jai a warning – stop this investigation, it’s nothing to do with you!
She wraps it up in an innocent way with a ‘let’s keep our noses out’, but it’s clear what her intentions are when she tells him it’s wise to keep out of it. If Jai were to find out what she did, she could be in some trouble herself as she believes she could be linked to whatever happened to Anthony.

Whether or not Jai listens is another matter. Like a dog with a bone, he will continue to look for signs and get to the truth.
Will he discover the truth – and what will this mean for those who are in on the cover-up?
And, what will turn out to be more important to Jai, will he inadvertently throw his own former love under the bus?
Truths always come out eventually in soapland…
