Netflix leading lady Alexandra Breckenridge has been keeping fans of the show updated with a

number of behind-the-scenes posts on Instagram. The Virgin River star recently spoke candidly about the upcoming shoot for season five, and some of her comments had fans concerned her next appearance as Mel Monroe could be her last.

Alexandra opened up to fans on her social media cooking show about the plans for Virgin River moving ahead.

Not only will the series be returning for a fourth season later this year, but the series has already been given the go-ahead for season five.

Chatting to her 805k followers on her Instagram cooking show, she gave some more insight into when the cast is likely to return to set.

She confirmed: “We were supposed to start in March, but it was pushed.”
