Burrito slap, anyone? Virgin River actress Alexandra Breckenridge has unveiled her

“favourite moment” from shooting the fifth season. Better known as the character Melinda

Monroe, she recently took to Instagram with a clip of herself and co-star Martin Henderson

(that’s Jack Sheridan to you and me) on some sort of sky gondola, daring each other to play a viral game she’d spotted online. The gist? Each person has a mouthful of water and upon being slapped in the face with a burrito, the one with the most water left wins. “Shall we do it?” smiles Henderson in the video, with Breckenridge laughing back: “That’ll be great!” “I will totally do that,” he replies, before the footage cuts off. Sadly, we’ll never know whether they actually did it!

Meanwhile, in another behind-the-scenes upload, the pair wander through a vast woodland as the Virgin River production crew set up the next camera shot on a crane. “The light’s so gorgeous and diffused, I think there might be a fire around,” Henderson suggests while Breckenridge strolls through the set. “The sun today, do you think it’s just because it’s autumn and it’s lower in the sky or something? The colour is diffused, it’s nice.”

“But I think a lot of what we’re seeing is atmosphere,” she answers, referring to some work done by the set designers. Social media is a popular haunt for Breckenridge, who back in September offered followers a unique insight to one of her “glamorous” mornings as a dog owner. “My dog Bonnie, she found a bag of flour and dragged it into the living room, so this is what I’m doing today,” she wrote next to a picture of the crime. “Bonnie, you’re naughty. Yes, you’re naughty. You can’t eat that, why would you want to eat flour anyway?”
