Only four days to go until the Christmas specials of the fifth season

of Virgin River (2019– ) arrive on Netflix. With the major plot twists

at the end of the first part, it will be difficult to surprise viewers even

more in this new part. However, there is one fan theory that could just crush subscribers.

From three babies to none

The fifth season of Virgin River immediately started with a plot twist when it turned out that Jack is not the biological father of Charmaine’s twins. Where Jack first thought he would be the father of three children, Charmaine’s twins and his child with girlfriend Mel, he suddenly only had one baby turnout. Much to the disappointment of fans, Mel’s pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. This has given Reddit users an idea.

A sad twist

In the trailer for the upcoming episodes, we see that Charmaine will finally give birth after 5 seasons. However, fans are now prepared for bad endings and this has led to a dark plot theory.This plot twist received a lot of support from fans of the series, although they also had to admit that it would be a sad twist. While we’ll have to wait and see if this will actually happen, there is a glimmer of hope. Producer Sean Smith revealed in a previous interview that the Christmas episodes will be a lot lighter than the first part of season 5. “It feels like we’re giving the audience a Christmas present, so let’s make it fun.”
