Emmerdale fans are convinced that John Sugden is going to turn against his own sister, Victoria, as she discovered the truth about Aidan Moore.
It was revealed that John seems to be suffering from Hero Syndrome. We discovered he killed Nate after trying to save him, and has brought multiple villagers close to death just so he could be the one to save the day. But through it all, he held on to another huge secret.
Last night (April 22) Victoria found out that John’s old army friend, Aidan, actually used to be his fiance, and also isn’t dead but instead in a coma. And when she confronted him about it, he told her not to tell Aaron. However, she refused and now some fans fear she may be next on his target list.

Victoria discovered John’s secret in Emmerdale
Aaron and John are set to get married quite soon, and many fans already think the truth will come out during their big day. But by then, could it be too late for Victoria?
When John first arrived in the village, he made Victoria believe that Aidan was just a friend. And that he had died during their army days. However, fans were adamant that wasn’t true, which was confirmed last week.
The reality of it is that John tried to save Aidan, and in doing so put him in a coma that he doesn’t seem to have much chance of waking up from. However, anything is possible in Soap Land…
Victoria demanded that John tells Aaron what really happened before they walk down the aisle. But he didn’t want to do that.
But if she is intent on telling Aaron the truth, John may need to do whatever he can to stop her. And the issue with this one is that just because he saves her life, she still may not keep his secret. So will he decide to harm her and not save her afterwards?

Would John kill his sister?
Taking to X, many fans expressed their fears that Victoria could be leaving soon, thanks to John.
One wrote: “Oh dear.. I think Victoria could be John’s next victim?”
Another penned: “John is not going to think he has to ‘save’ Victoria. But he will ‘accidentally’ kill her in the process.”
“John’s going to get rid of Victoria. His list of people to kill is growing rapidly…”
While we know John can be sinister, would he actually turn on his own family? Something tells us he would stop at nothing to make sure his secrets remain just that.
