At the Forrester Mansion, the atmosphere was festive as Eric and the other Forresters celebrated Thomas and Paris’s engagement. Amidst the celebration, Thomas received a text message revealing that Douglas was enjoying his time with Steffy and the kids. Paris expressed her delight at this, while Hope, across the room, rolled her eyes. Later, Carter secretly congratulated Thomas and Paris, stating, “It’s everything I wanted for you after everything,” while Eric began discussing plans for another wedding at his home.

Carter inquired if he could officiate Thomas and Paris’s wedding, but they graciously declined, noting they had only recently begun planning. Meanwhile, Brooke checked on Hope, who said nothing and walked away. Brooke followed, and Hope, emotional, voiced her sorrow and anger, questioning how Thomas could move on so quickly. Brooke wondered if Hope was reconsidering her decision to reject Thomas’s marriage proposal. After Eric and Donna left for the pool, Ridge directed Thomas and Paris to join them soon. As Ridge walked away, he turned back, expressing his happiness for them before heading to the pool.

Outside, Brooke told Ridge that Hope was struggling with Thomas’s engagement. Ridge responded calmly, “She turned him down.” He didn’t judge Hope for saying no, recognizing she wasn’t ready to marry. Brooke questioned Thomas’s quick engagement to another woman, mentioning she had asked Hope if she had any regrets. Ridge wondered what Hope would say if Thomas asked her to marry him right then.

Back inside the house, Thomas recalled his proposal to Hope and how she had rejected him. Hope re-entered the house, intending to catch Thomas alone.
