Victoria’s kids are finally home from boarding school on The Young and the
Restless, and the previously unseen Katie has joined Johnny. Victoria assumed
her two youngest children would be thrilled to meet their newfound big sister,
Claire, but we’re not so sure that’s how this will play out. Not So Fast Johnny (Paxton Mishkind) is kind of chill with it. Yawn, so what? Claire (Hayley Erin) can join his newfound brother, Connor (Judah Mackey — who we recently interviewed), on Johnny’s extended family tree. Katie (Sienna Mercuri) is less sanguine. First, Katie isn’t Mommy’s little girl anymore. Second, her new sister just recently tried to kill her entire family. So she’s been delightedly snotty. Claire thinks she’s charmed her little sister into accepting her. We’re really hoping the opposite.
Know Your Enemy
Katherine Rose Abbott-Newman has quite a legacy to live up to. She is named not just after the two most formidable families in Genoa City but also after Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper), matriarch of the third most powerful family. (She’s no Dominic, who is related to everybody and will never be able to date a single person who isn’t a cousin, but still pretty close.) One of the things Kay Chancellor was known for was holding a grudge. Just ask Jill (Jess Walton). We hope Katie follows in her footsteps.
