Stella Kidd’s Confirmed Chicago Fire Season 13 Story Can Further Vilify Kelly Severide

Chicago Fire season 13 already has a confirmed personal storyline for Stella Kidd, and it risks

further vilifying Kelly Severide. It would be an understatement to say that Firehouse 51 underwent

a lot of changes in Chicago Fire season 12. Coming from a particularly rocky year, the

beloved firehouse saw several big departures, including Sylvie Brett and Chief Wallace Boden. However, work didn’t stop, forcing the team to continue putting their best game on every call. For Severide and Kidd, however, their professional hurdles over at Firehouse 51 were made trickier by their crisis-ridden marriage. It’s no secret that things haven’t been easy for Severide and Kidd since they tied the knot in the Chicago Fire season 10 finale. By then, the pair had gone through so much together, so seeing them get married was a major treat. There’s also no doubt that they truly love each other. Unfortunately, however, there are so many other factors at play when maintaining a relationship. Kelly’s behavior in Chicago Fire season 11 while he was on an OFI training camp haunted the couple in season 12. Come season 13, however, things will likely continue to be rocky.

Chicago Fire Season 13 Will Further Explore Stella Kidd’s Family Kidd’s Parents Were Killed Early On In Her Life It won’t be a few more months until new episodes of Chicago Fire debut. That being said, it sounds like the creatives behind the first-responder procedural already have a clear idea of what’s next for some of its characters, particularly Miranda Mayo’s character. As previously revealed by showrunner Andrea Newman, Chicago Fire season 13 will further delve into Kidd’s family history. She reminded viewers that in “season 5 that her parents died when she was young, and she was raised by her aunt and uncle,” but “there is definitely more in her family story to be revealed. Stay tuned…” Exploring the past of Firehouse 51 personnel has always been part of Chicago Fire’s storytelling blueprint.

It’s the show’s way of humanizing its characters, which makes it easier for the public to be invested in the show. For a while now, Kidd’s personal life has revolved solely around her relationship with Severide, but that is about to change when Chicago Fire season 13 starts digging again into her past. Considering her less-than-ideal history, which includes a bad marriage, it’s safe to say the upcoming reveals about her aren’t going to be all good. Kidd’s Family History Can Highlight How Insensitive Severide’s Family Comment Is Severide Unexpectedly Raised The Idea Of Starting A Family In The Chicago Fire Season 12 Finale Severide’s family history has also already been tackled in One Chicago multiple times, particularly his relationship with his late father.

Considering the plot twist that Jack Damon is Benny Severide’s son in the Chicago Fire season 12 finale, expect that it will be a big part of the Rescue Squad 3’s leader’s upcoming arc. Exploring Kidd’s unsavory past, which may result in more heartbreaking revelations about her history, would explain why she was so taken aback when Severide just randomly brought up the idea of having kids as if they just haven’t gotten past some serious marital issues. Assuming that Chicago Fire season 13 adds to her heartbreaking past, Severide not even considering his wife’s struggles and just blurting out his desire to have children would further damage his image. Both Severide and Kidd had childhood issues. However, at least Severide was able to fix his relationship with his dad, and it was well-established that he has a great relationship with his mom. Kidd, on the other hand, was orphaned early on.

Assuming that Chicago Fire season 13 adds to her heartbreaking past, Severide not even considering his wife’s struggles and just blurting out his desire to have children would further damage his image. Lest it be forgotten, it hasn’t been that long since he ghosted her. Even when he came back, he struggled to make amends for his sins. Will Kidd & Severide Have A Kid In Chicago Fire Season 13 Firehouse 51 Will Need Kidd And Severide In Chicago Fire Season 13 To Be At Their Bes At this point, it’s anyone’s guess if Kidd and Severide will have a kid in Chicago Fire season 13. Considering everything that is happening in Firehouse 51, not to mention the status of their relationship, it may be for the best that they delay starting a family. As Chief Boden’s prodigies, the team will need them to be focused on the job as they go through this difficult transition. Kidd getting pregnant would eventually force her to do a desk job, which would likely not sit well with her. Ultimately, starting a family given their circumstances is not ideal. As exciting as the idea is, especially with Matt and Sylvie Casey raising their blended family in Portland, Oregon, the timing just isn’t right yet for Kidd and Severide. There are just way too many things hap
