Goes Belly-Up? Kody Brown might have had some disenchanted wives on his hands over the last few seasons, but the one good thing was, they were around him. Maybe that wasn’t good for Kody or the wives, as they suffered through humiliation, disdain, and family discord. For the Sister Wives’ spouses and kids, this seemed to put them outside their comfort level. It’s bad enough to experience such turmoil in your life. But then to have it displayed on national television, well, probably can’t get much worse than that. So, while the Sister Wives fans watched the suffering, the ratings indicated the last few seasons were a success.

Meri Brown lives at her B&B in Utah, and Christine Brown Woolley resides in Utah as well with her new husband. While Janelle Brown started with a place in Flagstaff, it seems she spends more time in North Carolina with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren than anywhere else these days. While a few of the Sister Wives‘ adult children still call Flagstaff their home, some are estranged from their father.

So, Kody and Robyn with their five kids seem to be an entity on their own today. Sister Wives: Fishing for the Drama? With the family now fractured into four separate families, some are thousands of miles away from the others. So, how do you film a television show? Sure, the cameras visit each home, or at least that’s what we’ve been led to believe. But now the Sister Wives fans know that all three ex-wives moved on to create a new life of their own. So, getting the drama going between Kody and his ex-brides seems like an impossible feat. Distance alone lessens the possibility of them at least bumping into each other around town.

Kody Brown and Robyn Brown have nothing to complain about concerning the three wives anymore. So, unless Kody creates a ploy that puts him and Robyn on the rocks for drama, it looks like this new season is a pretty dry one? Kody would have to aim all the juicy name-calling at the only wife he has left. The Sister Wives series, as fans know it, is a shadow of itself today. So, to keep the fans coming back, Kody will have to find new ways to deliver drama. Still, the fans want to see Janelle, Christine, and Meri in the new chapters of their life. But they’d much rather watch them in a new series. A spinoff of “after” the Sister Wives is one suggestion floating around online. As far as die-hard fans of this show are concerned, Kody Brown’s all dried up on the drama. They don’t want to spend a season of watching Robyn Brown basking in the life they think she wanted all along on the TLC series.
