Emmerdale viewers are convinced they’ve figured out who will come to Belle Dingle’s
rescue following a revealing scene with Tom King on Friday night. The ITV soap is currently
delving into a coercive control storyline between Tom and Belle, where fans have witnessed
Tom isolating and manipulating his partner. His behavior has taken a darker turn, culminating in a recent episode where he deceptively took Belle to Wales under the guise of a holiday, only to reveal his true plan of relocating there without her knowledge. He even went as far as applying for a job without informing Belle. To make matters worse, Tom prevented Belle from contacting her family by hiding her mobile phone. Suspicion arose within Belle’s family, particularly from Charity Dingle. After learning about Belle’s sudden departure, Charity decided to investigate, enlisting Cain Dingle’s help. They arrived at the trashed cottage in Wales, finding no one there, which heightened their concern. In a flashback episode on Wednesday, viewers saw the extent of Tom’s escalating abuse. He targeted their dog Piper and locked Belle in the cottage. In a moment of bravery, Belle decided to escape with Piper while Tom was in the shower. She managed to get on a bus and flee, despite Tom chasing after her.
By Thursday night, Belle had returned to the Dingle home, while Tom lied to her family, claiming Belle hadn’t taken her medication and denying any wrongdoing. He blamed her mental health for the situation. Later, when Belle went home to pack some belongings, Tom was waiting for her. He threatened her, saying, “I will kill you before I let you leave this house.” Belle, undeterred, bravely left. On Friday night, it became apparent that Tom was hiding near the Dingle home. He pretended Piper had escaped when Sam Dingle let her out and brought the dog back, creating a facade of concern. Vinny Dingle, however, was wary of Tom. When alone with Belle, Vinny gently asked if Tom had been abusive. Belle, clearly scared, got emotional and admitted that Tom could twist things and be verbally abusive. In the Woolpack, Vinny overheard Tom speaking nastily about Belle.
Deciding to confront him, Vinny stepped in, leading Tom to retaliate by publicly revealing that Belle had an abortion instead of a miscarriage, shocking the entire pub. Belle walked in at that very moment, further intensifying the scene. Later, in the beer garden, Tom gaslighted Belle, making her promise not to say anything more about him. The episode ended with Belle scolding Vinny, warning him to back off and stay out of her life. Fans took to Twitter, convinced that Vinny will ultimately save Belle and expose Tom’s true nature. One viewer said, “Vinny knows Belle is being abused.” Another account tweeted, “Oh, Vinny could be on to him.” A different fan wrote, “Vinny can see Tom for who he is,” while another added, “Vinny is the kindest soul in the village; he’ll help Belle, no doubts.” The unfolding drama has left viewers on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting Vinny’s next move. Will he be able to save Belle and expose Tom’s abusive behavior? The anticipation builds as Emmerdale continues to deliver intense and emotionally charged storylines, keeping fans hooked on every twist and turn.
