Two major EastEnders families are set to go to war in upcoming

EastEnders scenes after one local falls victim to a shocking act.

Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) has been secretly meeting up

with a much older boyfriend, and in order to keep it quiet, she tells suspicious Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) that the boy she’s been texting is Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman).

When Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) later confiscates her phone, he enlists Priya’s help to get into it – but Priya assures him there is nothing to worry about and recalls what Avani has told her.

Having decided not to go through her messages, Ravi gives Avani her phone back, and she later heads out to meet boyfriend Mason.

However, things take a horrifying turn when Avani tells Mason that she doesn’t want to sleep with him, and when he tells her to leave she ends up with a busted lip.

When Avani arrives back on the Square, she is spotted by Ravi, who is absolutely horrified.

Though Avani tries to cover, Ravi is certain that Barney is to blame, and determines to teach him a lesson.

When Ravi decides to make a spectacle out of Barney, he and Teddy Mitchell (Rolan Manookian) come to blows, but Avani races to the scene and forces Ravi to give up his plan.

Later, Ravi and Teddy go toe to toe once again outside the cafe, and soon the police arrive

Determined to get revenge on Ravi, Teddy calls in Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) and reveals that he has a plan…

Meanwhile, the Panesars gather to discuss the recent events, and decide to come up with their own way to make the Mitchells pay.

However, a concerned Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) puts a stop to their ideas, insisting that she doesn’t want anymore of their family to end up behind bars.

Instead, Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) suggests attempting to talk to Teddy in the hopes that they can settle their dispute, so he and Suki head off to do just that. Will they be successful?
