Carter’s recent actions have made Steffy highly suspicious. Though he hasn’t been deeply involved in the
company’s day-to-day activities, Carter has voiced strong support for Hope’s “Hope for the Future”
project. This sudden show of support has Steffy wondering if Carter has feelings for Hope.
Steffy also thinks that Hope, a known flirt, might be using Carter to secure an ally in the company.
Steffy initially tried not to be too harsh with Hope. However, she recently witnessed Hope in a compromising situation with Finn—Hope was barely dressed and “accidentally” fell onto him.
Even it was just an accident, Steffy couldn’t shake the suspicion that Hope was trying to seduce Finn. Furious, Steffy warned Hope to stay away from him, yet the incident still happened.
Steffy is now determined to make Hope regret her actions. As the CEO of Forrester Creations, Steffy is prepared to make some drastic and shocking decisions, likely driven by her personal feelings.
There’s a strong chance Steffy might fire Hope or shut down the “Hope for the Future” project, especially since the line hasn’t been profitable.
Steffy’s decision, however, was made without consulting Ridge or Brooke, her co-CEOs. Steffy has never liked Brooke and doesn’t respect her opinion.
As for Ridge, he previously supported Ivy’s jewelry collection despite Steffy’s wishes.
But if Hope is truly threatening Steffy’s marriage, Ridge might side with Steffy. Brooke, on the other hand, originally didn’t want to cause trouble for Steffy, but she’s finding Steffy’s recent decisions overly harsh.
The employees at Forrester Creations are also taken aback, finding Steffy’s actions unreasonable and fearing retaliation if they displease her.
Despite her position as CEO, Steffy’s recent moves have unintentionally damaged employee morale. Brooke is beginning to doubt whether Steffy truly deserves her role in the company.
