Euro 2024 football tournament has occupied the Beeb’s evening timeslot. As a result, the timeframe of when EastEnders will be on fans’ screens has been adjusted. Tonight’s games include Italy vs Croatia on BBC One, as well as Albania vs Spain on BBC Two. As for EastEnders, the episode originally slated to air tonight (June 24) is available to watch on iPlayer and will be on-screen tomorrow on BBC Two at 7.30pm. What was originally Wednesday’s episode will now air on Thursday at 7.30pm but will return to the flagship BBC One channel.

Lastly, Thursday’s episode has been pushed back to Friday’s schedule, with it hitting screens at 7pm on BBC One. The changes to EastEnders’ timetable come amid a string of exciting storylines taking place in Walford. Last Thursday’s episode concluded with a shocking discovery in the Queen Vic. Residents of Albert Square held a charity night in memory of Lola (Danielle Harold), who died last year and were horrified to learn an unknown thief had cruelly swiped the cash raised. Prison twist as character finally faces comeuppance for their hideous crime Upon the revelation, Lola’s widower Jay questioned, “Who would do something like that?” as her daughter Lexi asked, “No one would steal Mum’s money, would they?”

Phil (Steve McFadden), however, immediately had a suspect in his sights. The hardman pointed the blame at Stevie (Alan Ford), Billy’s estranged father, who has resurfaced in recent months. Is Stevie truly the guilty party or is someone else responsible? Elsewhere, the episode also saw a sense of justice for Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter), after she bravely spoke out and reported the sexual assault she faced at the hands of Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler). THE beloved British soap has been captivating audiences for decades. Viewers saw Clayton being taken into police custody, as Yolande, Patrick (Rudolph Walker) and Denise (Diane Parish) watched on. As he was being escorted away, the villain attempted to declare his innocence, saying: “You’ve got this all wrong. Whoever said this is lying.
