Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) is cooking up a sinister revenge plan in

upcoming EastEnders scenes and it spells trouble for one Walford local.

In recent scenes, viewers have seen Nish concoct a plan to frame son Vinny

Panesar (Shiv Jalota) for the money laundering at the chicken shop. Nish’s businesses haven’t always been totally legal, and in recent scenes he was spooked when he spotted a suspicious vehicle driving around the Square.

It didn’t take long for one of his employees to inform him that it was undercover police, and they were keen to look into the business practices of the chicken shop.

Nish soon realised that if he wanted to stay out of prison, then he needed to find someone to pin the blame on – and fast.

After gifting Vinny a family heirloom for his birthday, Nish was left horrified when he saw him throw it away on Suki Panesar’s (Balvinder Sopal) instructions.

While Nish was originally in two minds about setting him up for the crime, Vinny’s choice to take Suki’s side in their family feud cemented Nish’s decision to turn on his family.

Next week, Nish stages a handover of cash between Vinny and employee Harti, and though Suki warns him, Vinny takes the bait.

As Vinny heads to the drop-off point, Suki demands an audience with Nish’s accomplice, where he admits that Nish tipped off police and they will arrest Vinny when he arrives.

Terrified Suki wastes no time in intervening and Vinny is quick to arrive back at No.41.

Knowing that Nish will be after him, Suki urges Vinny to leave Walford, but as he jumps into the cab, they have no idea that it is a trap…

When Suki doesn’t hear from Vinny, she begins to panic – but what has happened?
