THE Branning clan appear to have been ripped apart for good in EastEnders as
secrets and lies continue to unravel in the wake of the horror nightclub crush. Disaster
struck as Walford residents were left scrambling when a packed-out Peggy’s left
clubgoers struggling to breathe and to move. Sign up for the EastEnders newsletter The chaos erupted as a result of Chelsea Fox secretly allowing for more ticket sales than allowed thus ensuring that the venue would be dangerously over-capacity. However, Chelsea was initially left none the wiser about the incident after fleeing the bar and allowing Penny Branning to be in control. Despite Chelsea’s actions, she has so far remained silent on her dangerous actions with Penny now set to take the fall as a result of bombshell evidence. During the latest episode, Jack was still left aghast as his daughter Amy Mitchell continued to fight for her life after getting caught up in the scary incident.
Read more on Eastenders As well as that, Jack was dealing with the discovery that his niece Lauren Branning was also left severely injured as a result of the crush. Doctors told her she had been left with a damaged lung and an injured chest wall meaning that Jack was having to stay strong for two members of his family. Throughout the episode, Penny saw her day going from bad to worse as she was forced to admit that she was the one that triggered the fire alarm which caused a further panic in the club. However, it was what the police officers had to say towards the end of the BBC episode that could leave the Branning family changed forever.

She was soon stopped in her tracks as the police officer beckoned that he needed to speak to Penny. EastEnders appears to take a cheeky dig at Coronation Street as Sonia Fowler is imprisoned He said: “After an examination of the office laptop, we have evidence to prove that extra tickets were illegally issued via your staff login.”
Penny reacted in shock as she beckoned: “What? But I didn’t issue any extra…” A furious Jack could be seen looking on as the police interrupted Penny to say: “Ms. Branning, we would like to interview you under caution in respect of the injuries sustained by customers at Peggy’s. “Please come with us.” With the cops firmly on Penny’s case, it seems that Jack could be about to disown one of his daughters for good after believing she put her sibling in grave danger.
