EastEnders fans think they’ve rumbled a shocking family link between two characters
on the BBC soap after a cryptic scene. Some viewers do not think there’s a relation there,
but instead the pair are linked by a yet to be revealed past incident. Eve Unwin and
Reiss Colwell’s latest discussion on the show left fans sure there was something on the cards. The pair were discussing his late wife Debbie’s engagement or wedding ring in the café amid a secret proposal, while Reiss had claimed it was his grandmother’s ring. Eve made a comment about her own grandmother having a very similar ring, and it got viewers talking. Given Reiss’ dark past and his recent killer actions, some fans wondered if Reiss had stolen the ring at the very start. Had he stolen the ring from Eve’s grandmother years earlier before giving it to Debbie? Other fans thought there might be a bigger twist at play with a DNA bombshell potentially on the cards. They could not shake off the idea that EastEnders was hinting at something with the similarity in rings, and that perhaps the characters shared the same grandmother, making them relatives.
EastEnders viewers have come up with a shocking theory that could see Eve Unwin and pal Reiss Colwell reveal that they are related ( Image: BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron) On this theory, one fan posted on social media: “Why do I have a feeling Eve and Reiss are related?” Another agreed: “I thought that after the ring thing today,” as a third posted: “I thought that too when she said her grandma had the same ring.”
SIMILAR ARTICLES TO THIS Another fan theorised: “I’m sure they wouldn’t reference Eve saying her grandmother had the same ring for nothing it will be something for sure!” A further comment read: “I think they could because everyone said what a beautiful ring my grandmother had one just like that, he then said this was also my grandmothers. If they aren’t related did he steal the ring if he knew her or they could of been very popular?” As for the theory about a theft twist linking the characters, a viewer wrote: “Or he stole it from her Grandmother. Maybe has a deeper past than we ever thought.” Another said: “Her Nan was probably an accountancy client that he stole from. He’s being ripping people off for years I bet” while a third comment read: “Maybe he killed her grandmother and stole her ring.”
