EastEnders‘ Suki Panesar sparks concern next week as she starts to let her
guard down around her evil ex-husband Nish. Kathy Beale steps in to warn
Suki that she could be taking a major risk by letting Nish back into her life.
Suki recently called a fragile truce with terminally-ill Nish, promising not to stand in his way as he planned to spend some final time with his family before he dies. Nish has been told that he may not have long left, as his heart condition is worsening more quickly than expected. Next week, the villain continues to scheme as he gets annoyed when Suki and her fiancée Eve Unwin flaunt their engagement plans in front of him. Nish asks Vinny to speak to Habiba Ahmed and arrange for Jags’s son Tye to visit the Square. As Suki and Eve’s engagement party gets under way later in the week, Suki is touched when Vinny reveals the news that Tye will be coming. Suki asks Nish if he’d like to join the party, following a suggestion from Nugget and Avani.
Nish enjoys having all of the family together, but his anger returns when he overhears Suki and Eve discussing his imminent demise. He retaliates by making another mysterious phone call. As the week continues, Nish spots another situation to manipulate when Eve makes plans for her and Suki to visit Yorkshire together. Eve is left disappointed as Suki decides to stay home and see Tye instead. Later, Eve backs down after advice from Stacey Slater and she calls Suki to apologise, but Nish resents this interruption into their family time. The next day, Kathy is stunned when she sees Suki and Nish playing happy families together in the café alongside their grandson Tye. Kathy discreetly asks Suki whether Nish can really be trusted. Will Suki take this on board?
