EastEnders’ Sonia Fowler is set to make a big decision about her future, as Reiss Colwell’s

scheming continues. Reiss has recently been struggling for money, but last week he was thrown

a lifeline when he was offered some work by Sharon. In scenes that will air next week,

Reiss gets more worrying news, when he is told by Debbie’s care home that she will be moved if he doesn’t pay the outstanding money. After visiting Debbie, he decides to head home and tell Sonia the extent of his money woes, but first, Sonia has some good news. Reiss comes clean about their debt, then continues his scam by telling Sharon that he made a mistake about the VAT bill, and she must pay up by tomorrow.

When Reiss asks Sharon about the outstanding funds, Phil overhears and is bemused. Sharon agrees to pay the debt, but Phil demands to know what is going on. As Sharon explains to Phil that she has taken her eye off the accounts recently, guilty Reiss quickly makes his escape. Sonia speaks to Martin about her money woes, before she goes to the care home to spend time with Debbie, where she vows to look after her. Making a big decision, Sonia decides to sell No.25 for some extra money and meets with an estate agent to get the ball rolling.
