Reiss Colwell will deceive Sonia Fowler again in EastEnders as his financial troubles

persist. Reiss has been struggling with money over the course of the past few months, with

the character resorting to using the money from his comatose wife, Debbie, in order to

pay for IVF treatment for Sonia. This led to a terse exchange with Bianca Jackson after she discovered his actions, though Sonia stood by him despite admitting that his antics were immoral. He decides to rent a room out in the house to ease some of the worries, but Sonia is fuming after she discovers he went behind her back with the idea. He confides in her that he is seriously worried about his finances, though Sonia assures him that they will get through it, even if she disapproves of the idea of a lodger. Things look up for the pair when Sharon offers Reiss a lifeline, asking him to chase up her invoices.
