EastEnders‘ Reiss Colwell is set to face even more pressure as his lies continue

to catch up to him. Reiss has been struggling with his poor finances for a while, as

he and Sonia tried to conceive through IVF. He began stealing from his comatose

wife Debbie, as well as taking and pretending to invest Sharon and Phil’s money. However, with Phil hounding Reiss for a return on his “investment”, the latter sold Debbie’s ring to Eve, who then proposed to Suki.

In upcoming scenes, Sonia is upset that she can’t show Amy her engagement ring, believing Reiss was mugged and the ring was stolen. Luckily for Reiss, Eve covers for him and says she bought it at a pawn shop. But Sonia isn’t easily convinced and corners Reiss for answers.
