It’s a big month for EastEnders fans who are into football as the BBC soap has just inserted a
newly filmed scene to celebrate Euro 2024. Following England’s win against the Netherlands on
July 10, the team have secured their place in the final against Spain, with the big game to be
played at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Sunday (July 14). Ahead of the match, EastEnders has aired a surprise topical reference to the game against the Netherlands. “You think we can go all the way?” Harvey asks his mates in the scene, to which Alfie replies: “We dare to dream, my friend. Dare to dream!” before the trio hug it out and start chanting.
