1. David is back
David Wicks returns to Walford, and when Cindy spots her ex back on the Square, she tries to stay out of sight.
Cindy explains to George why she is so thrown by David’s return, and she is advised to face up to her past.
She decides to just this, and after David meets up with Reiss, he gets a shock when he sees Cindy alive and standing in front of him.
2. Denise makes a decision
Denise arrives home early to support Yolande, after hearing the news about Pastor Clayton. Yolande talks to Denise about the importance of honesty and truth, and it makes her feel guilty
about knowing the truth about the club crush.
She is affected by Yolande’s words about the corrosive nature of lies and decides to tell Jack that Chelsea was responsible for the crush, not Penny.
3. Tommy steals again
Kat tells the boys that Alfie has got the job as the manager at the Minute Mart. However, the Moon family are struggling for money so Tommy plans to steal from the café to help the family.
But when it comes to it, Kathy catches the teen in the act. She tells Kat about her son’s actions and advises her to have a word with him.
4. Ian catches David and Cindy
Ian tells Peter and Lauren that he and Cindy might get married again, admitting that he previously tried to propose but it went wrong.
Meanwhile, David and Cindy catch up on the last two decades, and naturally, David has a lot of questions. But the former couple soon get caught, after Bianca tells a horrified Ian that David is back.
Later, Ian decides to make amends with Anna after being frosty with her about Bobby’s exit – and tells her that he has a big surprise for Cindy.
5. Kat’s talk goes wrong
Kat takes Kathy’s advice and tries to talk to Tommy about his stealing from the café. But her attempt to reach out to his son doesn’t go well, and he physically intimidates her.
6. Jack and Penny are at odds
Jack is overwhelmed by the responsibility of looking after Amy and taking care of the house on his own. Putting his feelings towards Penny aside, he allows her to come over to help support Amy.
Penny’s visit has managed to lift Amy’s spirits, and Jack is pleased. But the positive mood soon changes when Jack makes an insensitive comment which upsets Penny, and the pair have a huge row.
7. David makes his mark
David also catches up with his daughter Bianca, and the pair have some deep conversations as they make up for lost time.
Later that evening, Cindy is forced to deal with several difficult situations at once. Is David involved in this somehow?
8. Tommy’s behaviour worsens
It is Jay’s 30th birthday and he has a video message from his late wife Lola. He tries to show Kat and Phil the video, but Tommy interrupts and ruins the mood.
Kat tells her son to stop making such a racket, but he is vicious in his response, and Phil is stunned by his rudeness.
Later, Kat tries again to talk to Tommy about stealing, but things get worse when Tommy tries to leave, and Kat grabs him. What will happen next?
9. Denise tries to help
Denise hears that Penny and Jack are still having issues, so she puts her guilt to the side and makes it her mission to fix their relationship, getting them both to come to Denzel’s 16th birthday party.
At the house later, Jack expresses his gratitude to Denise for everything she has done and tells his ex-wife how amazing she is.
10. Junior makes a confession
Junior’s feelings for Cindy are beginning to weigh heavy on him, so he decides to tell dad George about his mystery woman – without revealing her identity, of course.
He explains that the relationship began as a fling but has become something much more serious. Junior says he believes that the woman feels the same way, and George is intrigued.
