Coronation Street‘s cast and crew went out on location this week to film special flashback scenes focusing on Kit Green’s life 17 years ago.
The ITV soap will be exploring Kit’s childhood, showing viewers what happened after his mum Bernie gave him up as a baby.
A younger version of Kit has been cast specially for the episode, while Jane Hazlegrove – who plays Bernie – transformed her image for the intriguing scenes set in 2008.
Corrie‘s big episode also features a younger version of Weatherfield newcomer Lou Michaelis, who has a prior connection to Kit.

EastEnders exit confirmed
Esnders star Matthew James Morrison is bowing out from the show after three years as Felix Baker.
The sad news was announced on Friday (March 14), with show sources suggesting that bosses had decided to write out the character of Felix.
A spokesperson confirmed that Matthew will leave “later this year”.

A new set of teaser spoilers for the week commencing Monday, March 24 warned of “huge consequences” as Lily, Avani and Amy decide to skip school.
This leads to a worrying discovery for Avani’s mum Priya later in the week – but what could the trio get involved in?
Emmerdale’s Chas collapses
Emmerdale fans will be kept guessing next week as Chas Dingle collapses at The Woolpack.
There are fears of foul play as Chas falls to the ground at work and hits her head in a dramatic scene.
The incident comes shortly after Chas publicly argues with her jealous love rival Ella Forster.
John Sugden is also behaving strangely, concerned that Chas doesn’t accept him as part of Aaron’s life.

Neighbours celebrates its 40th anniversary in bittersweet circumstances next week. The soap is going all-out with a huge week of episodes, but the occasion is tinged with sadness following the news that we’ll be saying goodbye to the residents of Ramsay Street again later this year.
Fans can expect high drama surrounding Leo and Krista’s wedding, a shock death and the return of some familiar faces like Darcy Tyler and Melanie Pearson.
Legendary cast member Anne Charleston is also back on the scene, but rather than reprising her role as the late Madge Bishop, she’s playing someone new.

Home and Away introduces Theo’s new love interest
Home and Away is lining up a potentially risky new romance for Theo Poulos.
In this week’s Australian pace episodes, Theo flirted up a storm with newcomer Lacey Miller, played by Sophea Pennington.
