Fans of Coronation Street believe they’ve pieced together the future house of characters Carla Connor and Lisa Swain.

Since November, when Carla and Lisa started their romance, their relationship has gone from strength-to-strength as they faced intense challenges, from harrowing hostage ordeals to kidney surgeries and non-stop drama.

On Friday’s episode, upon discovering Lisa’s daughter Betsy had fibbed about her location – actually visiting Logan Radcliffe in jail to uncover truths about her late other mum, Becky, who died in 2021 – the duo resolved to turn over a new leaf.

The pair shared with Betsy news of their plans to purchase a home together and sought her blessing, with Lisa commenting on their current crowded living situation in Carla’s flat: “I mean, we’re fine here, but it’s a bit cramped isn’t it? Unless you’ve got any objections obviously…”

Betsy reacted with excitement, responding: “No, I think it’s a great idea!” as Carla proceeded to display potential homes online, identifying which space could be Betsy’s room, reports Belfast Live.

Soap enthusiasts have taken to social media, convinced they’ve discerned the exact property the couple will opt for. Regular viewers are reminded that Yasmeen Metcalfe vacated No.6, exiting the cobbles in March bound for a fresh chapter in London.

Originally, Ronnie Bailey put in a bid for the residence to share with Debbie Webster. However, after Debbie ended their relationship, shattered by her vascular dementia diagnosis and wanting to keep it secret from Ronnie, this arrangement crumbled.

Fans of Coronation Street now speculate that Carla and Lisa might become the new owners of No. 6, building a happy life together with Betsy.

Carla said: “Look, I do love you, you know, and one day, yeah, I could totally see us getting married. But it’s got to come out of love, not grief.”

Lisa then shared her vision for their future wedding: “Beach in Ibiza!” to which Carla added: “So when we’re happy, I’m not saying we’re not happy now, it’s just that when we know what we want then there ain’t nothing gonna keep me from that church or registry office or whatever you want really”.
