Emmerdale fans are convinced they know the true identity of Ryan Stock’s new girlfriend Shanice.
Ryan (James Moore) has been a firm favourite on the soap since his debut in 2018. As the long-lost son of Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), Ryan has been involved in a ton of village drama.
He has also been part of some huge storylines, including Charity’s court case against Ryan’s evil biological father, corrupt police officer Mark Bails (Rocky Marshall).
Ryan’s relationship with Gail (Rachael Gill-Davis) has also been a highlight with fans. Their romance began in their younger years and when they were teenagers, they welcomed a child together, whom they gave up for adoption.
Gail and Ryan later reconciled years later when Gail arrived in the village. In a shock twist though, their child Oscar came back into their lives in 2023 when he needed a bone marrow transplant.
Last week though, Gail left Ryan devastated when she confirmed she was leaving the village for good for a new life in Devon. Since then, Ryan has been attempting to move on with the help of pal Ross Barton (Mike Parr).
And earlier this week, Ross showed off his best flirting skills when chatting to newcomer Chanice (Georgia Moir,) who was in the Woolpack pub. However, despite getting her number, Chanice actually ended up staying the night with Ryan.
In Tuesday’s episode (May 14), Ross was left surprised but delighted for Ryan, when he came across Chanice leaving the pub after spending the night.
However, fans are predicting a shock DNA twist ahead involving Chanice. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person mused: “Anyone know who this Shanice is?”
Rushing to the comments section, fans suggested she could be the secret long-lost daughter of soap legend Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell). They wrote: “Zak’s long-lost daughter.” A third fan agreed: “Probably!” Another viewer also said: “Not another one!”
As the head of the Dingle clan, Zak was one of the soap’s most iconic characters. He made his first appearance way back in 1994 and remained on the soap until 2023. Actor Steve sadly died in December 2023.
