Emmerdale‘s Joe Tate is left with crucial leverage to use against Billy Fletcher in Wednesday’s episode.
Joe can’t resist poking fun at Billy after uncovering his secret connection to Manpreet Sharma.
Viewers know that Billy has been anonymously messaging Manpreet online after stumbling across her Only Fans-style page, where she shared racy content behind a paywall.
Billy recently confessed to his wife Dawn over what he’d been up to, but he concealed the crucial detail that Manpreet was his mystery woman.

Dawn immediately forgave Billy, still hiding her own recent wrongdoing as she’s having a secret affair with Joe.
In Wednesday’s episode, Joe corners Billy after spotting him sitting with his tablet computer at Home Farm.
Joe quips: “If I were you, I’d consider setting up a password for that thing. You left it open a few weeks back.”
When asked how much he’d seen, Joe replies: “Enough to make me seriously consider signing up for our GP.”

This explains how Joe may have found out about Manpreet’s secret in the first place, allowing him to start blackmailing her.
