EastEnders appears to have confirmed a huge twist in Bianca Jackson’s (Patsy Palmer) story that could bring about Reiss Colwell’s (Jonny Freeman) end, with a subtle hint in a recent episode.
Bianca has been locked in Reiss’ storage unit for several months now, after uncovering the truth behind Debbie Colwell’s murder.
Though Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) had been arrested and charged with the crime, Bianca remained suspicious of Reiss.
After finding CCTV that proved he was at the hospital the night Debbie was smothered by a pillow, Bianca managed to get the truth out of him.
To keep her quiet, Reiss took her to the storage unit where he planned to kill her, though he soon lost his nerve.
Instead, he chained her up and promised to release her once Sonia was free, so they could all move on with their lives.
However, in recent scenes, Sonia was found not guilty and released, though it soon became clear that Reiss had no plans to let Bianca go.
Bianca had agreed to record a confession to Debbie’s murder to get Sonia off the hook, and promised to disappear once Reiss had released her.
Unfortunately, Reiss realised what a risk it would be to take Bianca at her word, and though she promised not to tell anyone what had happened, Reiss decided to err on the side of caution, refusing to grant her her freedom.
However, all may not be lost for Bianca, as eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted.
In his haste to get back to Sonia, Reiss didn’t properly lock the door to the storage unit…
Could Bianca be set to escape her chains and run to freedom, bringing Reiss down in the process?
Reiss has already slipped up once, with the doll house he was left in Debbie’s will having been visible in the back of the confession video Bianca recorded.
If Bianca manages to get out, could this be enough to prove that Reiss has been keeping her prisoner, and she isn’t really guilty of murder? And will Reiss finally be forced to pay for his cirmes?
