EastEnders spoilers and updates for the week of April 28 tease karma, tantrums, confessions and date requests.

Nicola Mitchell’s (Laura Doddington) karma comes back to bite, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) throws a tantrum, Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) confesses his feelings, and Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) requests a date.

Nicola’s Karma Bites Back

In the upcoming scenes, Nicola must confront her past as her deadly secret continues to torment her.

Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) presses Nicola for details regarding Shireen Bashar’s (uncredited) death.

When Teddy argues that their son Harry deserves to know the truth, Nicola fears it will push him over the edge.

Reluctantly, Teddy agrees to remain silent, but their younger son Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) senses the tension between his parents and inadvertently makes Nicola reconsider her choices. Later, Teddy confronts Nicola, insisting she halt her current actions because he has a plan.

Nicola And Teddy Make A Deal With Benji

Teddy takes a break from the job site, and he and Nicola strike a deal with Benji (Carl Prekopp). Nicola opts to sell Harry’s Barn to settle her debt with Benji, but Teddy proposes an alternative solution.

Nicola is shocked by Teddy’s actions, leading them both into a complicated predicament. The tension escalates when Nicola is confronted by an intruder while she is alone at Harry’s Barn.

In that moment, Nicola must confront her past, but has someone discovered her involvement in Shireen’s death-could that someone be out for revenge?

Priya’s Tantrum

Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) is spending time with Joel Marshall (Max Murray), which doesn’t sit well with her father, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).

Meanwhile, Priya receives a call from Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) informing her that the police will not be pursuing Avani’s complaint regarding her distressing strip-search.

Concerned about how this news might impact Avani, Priya decides to keep it from her and asks Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) to do the same.

However, when Amy and Avani reconcile, the truth inevitably surfaces, leading to an upset Priya filing another complaint at the police station.

As Priya loses her composure, Callum Highway (Tony Clay) intervenes, and back at home, Avani is enraged with her family for deceiving her, prompting her to leave in anger.

Teens Drinking Party, Priya’s Apology

Priya and Ravi attempt to reconcile over a takeaway night, but Priya allows Avani to invite friends instead.

At the house, Avani hosts Amy, Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega), and Davinder ‘Nugget’ Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) when Joel and Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) show up with drinks, and start partying.

Tommy faces teasing from the others about his inexperience with girls, while Joel offers him some questionable advice. Meanwhile, at Harry’s Barn, Priya becomes furious again when Callum and his colleagues arrive-as she confronts them, Ravi has to intervene.

The following morning, a hungover Priya must deal with Avani’s anger regarding the incident with Callum-Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal) encourages Priya to own up to her actions, and she  apologizes.

Joel Makes His Move

Later on, Priya finds motivation in some parenting tips from Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter), while Avani has a meeting with dealer Declan (Alfie Cain).

Joel intervenes to buy some weed for her after she is denied it for free. Subsequently, Avani spends time with Barney, but when she invites Joel and Tommy over, Barney feels let down.

He confronts Joel about a rude remark made about Avani while she steps away, but the cunning Joel manages to persuade Avani that Barney is to blame.

After a heated exit, Joel and Avani share a smoke, and he makes a move on her-what will Avani’s response be?

Johnny’s Confession

Johnny shares with his grandmother Elaine Knight (Harriet Thorpe)  that he wants a serious relationship with Felix Baker (Matthew James Morrison).

He feels let down when Felix turns him down because he already has plans for the night, but the next day, Johnny is happy to learn that Felix’s date didn’t go well.

They plan a movie afternoon, but just as Johnny is about to ask Felix to be a couple, Elaine, Gina, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), and Anna Knight (Molly Rainford)  interrupt. The next day, Johnny finally gets to talk to Felix about his feelings; how will Felix react?

Harry’s Date Request

Harry offers dating tips to his new colleague Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) before attempting to flirt with Gina. Later, he asks Kojo to help him out by saying something nice about him to Gina.

Although Gina is initially unimpressed, Harry eventually persuades her to go on a date. Will he be able to win her over during their outing?

Meanwhile, Anna heads to The Albert in hopes of repairing her friendship with Gina. Their bond has been strained ever since Gina’s affair with Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) came to light, especially since Anna had feelings for him-can they reconcile?
