Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) sees red in EastEnders next week when he discovers that son-in-law Callum Highway (Tony Clay) is cheating on Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) with Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff).
Callum, as viewers know, struggled to resist Johnny’s charms last week, with the pair sharing a kiss at the Prince Albert during Pride.
Upcoming scenes see Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) berate the pair for their moment of passion since she’s lost her best bartender in Felix Baker (Matthew James Morrison), who left the Square last week with Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris).
With Lexi Pearce (Isabelle Brown) overhearing the showdown, Callum is forced to do some damage control and thus heads to the Vic to tell Johnny that they can only be friends.
However, one thing leads to another and the two men end up spending the night together.
Callum is riddled with guilt in the aftermath, given that he is still married to Ben – who is serving a prison sentence in the US for fraud – and thus he tells Johnny that he cannot be with him.

Next week, however, sees Callum left jealous when he learns Johnny had a one night stand and it’s not long before they end up in one another’s arms again!
Phil, meanwhile, remains in the dark about the pair’s secret fling – that is, until he is invited upstairs for a chat by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
The hard-man catches Johnny and Callum together and implodes with rage, grabbing Johnny, with Callum, Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) and Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) shouting at him to stop.

After the dust settles, Callum makes a beeline for the Mitchell household in order to talk things through with Phil, begging him not to tell Ben and Lexi.
His efforts prove fruitless.
Jay offers his advice, attempting to reason with Phil, but a nasty argument subsequently breaks out, leaving the family more divided than ever.

The question is: will Ben learn of Callum and Johnny’s affair? And will Callum be able to stay away from Johnny? Or is this the start of a romance for the pair?
