Here’s who sent flowers from Anthony in dark Emmerdale twist

Emmerdale has aired a dark twist in Anthony Fox’s storyline as his family received a mysterious delivery.

The villainous character was killed by his daughter Ruby Fox-Miligan earlier this year, with Caleb Miligan, Cain Dingle, Aaron Dingle, John Sugden and Chas Dingle all helping to cover-up the murder.

Meanwhile, Ruby’s daughter Steph finally learned the horrific truth about Anthony sexually abusing her mother, and that he was actually her biological father.

In tonight’s episode, Aaron found Steph researching plastic surgery to try to rid herself of any resemblance to Anthony. Aaron shared his own struggles with self-harm, advising Steph not to bottle up her trauma.

“Taking the pain out on your own body won’t make it any better. You need to talk to your mum and dad,” he said.

At The Woolpack, Caleb and Ruby received a grilling from Jai Sharma, who was fishing for information about Anthony. He was quickly shut down by his boss and sent back to work.

Later, Aaron shared his and Steph’s conversation with the Miligans, informing them that she was in a vulnerable state. After falling in the road, AWOL Steph was found by Joe Tate and taken to the depot.

As she and Ruby arrived back home later, there was a knock on the door. Caleb returned to the house with a bunch of flowers that had been left on the doorstep.

The accompanying card read: “I’m coming for you” and it was signed off by Anthony. Caleb read it before quickly scrunching it in his hand.

“Oh, they’re not for us,” he lied, before Ruby grabbed the note and revealed its contents to Steph. Caleb tried to reassure his family, calling it a “sick joke”, but Steph wasn’t convinced.

“Everything that’s been happening, all the bad stuff, you getting stabbed, this could actually be his doing,” she said. “We have only got John’s word that he buried him. What if he’s still alive?”

The sender of the flowers will soon be revealed as Jai, who was trying to find out what Caleb has been hiding. In upcoming scenes, Jai is humiliated when Ruby reveals the truth about her father’s abuse.

Though he backs off, Jai’s actions will cause Steph to spiral as she desperately tries to prove Anthony is really dead.a
