Emmerdale‘s Bear Wolf gives his loved ones a fright next week, when he suddenly disappears from the village.

Paddy Kirk and Mandy Dingle are already worried about Bear’s unexplained actions, but as the situation continues to escalate, will they be able to track him down when he goes AWOL?

“Bear’s erratic behaviour hasn’t gone unnoticed by his family,” begins our Dales insider. “Let’s not forget, by this point he’s left Eve at home alone and she got her hands on his pill box.

“Paddy hatches a plan to get his struggling dad under control, but things soon go very wrong, and Bear ends up fleeing the village.”

Paddy previously gifted Bear an old motorbike to fix up, attempting to win his dad round while he is proving a very tricky houseguest. But next week, he is frustrated to find the parts cluttering up Tenant’s Cottage.

Desperate to stop his home resembling a junk shop, Paddy convinces Cain Dingle to let Bear work on his motorbike at the garage instead. Bear is initially pleased about this, but his restoration project proves tricky, and he is quick to fly off the handle.

As Bear’s frustration builds, he suddenly snaps and threatens Kammy Hadiq – who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He turns violent and grabs the young mechanic by the jacket, but thankfully someone observes the shocking confrontation.

“Paddy is in disbelief when he sees his dad erupt in fury,” our source continues. “He rushes in to calm the situation and make sure Kammy is okay, but he really has reached breaking point with Bear now.

“However, when his old man returns home later, he acts as if nothing has happened – leaving Paddy and Mandy utterly confused.”

The pair question Bear about the dramatic day, but he gets irritated and heads upstairs. Paddy and Mandy find themselves out of ideas about how to deal with Bear, and they fear that his behaviour is getting worse.

Mandy has some wise words for Paddy and encourages her husband to address his growing concerns with his dad. But it’s a conversation that never takes place…

“Paddy’s candid chat is put on hold when he discovers that both Bear and his motorbike have gone missing,” our source warns.

“This comes as a total surprise, and alarm bells immediately start ringing, as Paddy doesn’t have a clue where he might be.”
