Roy Cropper (David Neilson) finds himself on the wrong side of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) in Coronation Street next week.

You’d think after she allowed him to be wrongly imprisoned for her apparent murder, he’d be the last person she’d upset, surely?

As viewers of the ITV soap have seen, Lauren has found herself on the wrong side of the law once again.

Alongside Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin), the pair stole Tracy McDonald’s (Kate Ford) work van and subsequently crashed it.

Betsy decided to allow Lauren to rush off and she took the blame for the incident, which has had sinister consequences.

Lauren began receiving threatening messages from an unknown contact demanding £200 to not expose her secret, including a picture of her behind the wheel of the stolen florist truck.

In upcoming scenes, she begins to panic about the situation and is offered £500 from her pal Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll).

However, strapped-for-cash, she decides the money would be better spent on a deposit for a new flat.

This decision really tests their friendship, as when Bobby learns of how his cash has been spent, he is mortified.

Devastated by her betrayal, he declares the friendship to be over.

Later in the week, Betsy hears from Bobby about how badly Lauren treated him, and she’s not a happy bunny. She storms over to Roy’s Rolls for a confrontation, which quickly turns sour.

During their row, Lauren picks up a ketchup bottle and aims it at the teenager – but accidentally squirts it all over poor, defenceless Roy instead!

As spoiler pictures show, Carla Connor (Alison King) strolls in amid the argument, and demands answers.
