A major character’s death is confirmed in Emmerdale, with two suspects in
the spotlight. Rose Jackson has vanished from the village, leaving a trail of mystery and suspicion.
Rose arrived in Emmerdale with a mission to ruin Kim Tate and Will Taylor’s
marriage, collaborating with Ruby Fox Milligan. However, her plan went awry when she accidentally drugged Dawn Taylor instead of Will. Dawn, in turn, accused Kim of being responsible, prompting Kim to leave Home Farm for a B&B in the village.
Kim later saw Rose speaking with a drug dealer, confirming her suspicions that Rose was up to something nefarious. Determined to uncover the truth, Kim confronted Rose at the B&B. As Kim discussed recent events with Lydia Dingle, Rose was confessing everything to Will. Stunned by Rose’s involvement at Home Farm, Will was nonetheless oblivious to the connection between Rose and Ruby.
Back at Home Farm, Kim decided to evict Rose, demanding she pack her bags immediately. When Rose failed to answer where she would go, Kim and Will forcibly put her in the truck and drove her to a remote road. Kim felt triumphant in her revenge, but Will, feeling guilty, handed Rose an envelope of money.
For a moment, it seemed this was the last of Rose. In a poignant scene, Rose examined the envelope, finding a hip flask and a family portrait. As she reflected on her broken family, a Home Farm vehicle approached. By the episode’s end, Rose had disappeared.
Both Kim and Will returned home separately, each holding a set of keys, making them the prime suspects. Did Will take Rose to a train station or the airport, or did Kim return for a more violent act of revenge? The mystery deepens as Emmerdale fans are left to speculate on Rose Jackson’s fate.
