candid about the changing dynamics of her relationships with her former sister wives. On the June 10 episode of the Misunderstood Podcast, Meri discussed her interactions with Janelle, Christine, and Robyn Brown. According to The U.S. Sun, Meri observed that although their lives have become more autonomous, they still retain friendly relationships when they occasionally meet. “We have friendly conversations when I see them, but I don’t pursue a relationship with them,” Meri said. She has been focusing on personal growth since her separation from Kody over a year ago. She emphasized the importance of surrounding oneself with encouraging individuals during self-improvement phases. Initially, Meri found it difficult to break away from the family, feeling it was necessary to stay together. However, she realized that change is not always bad, even if it means letting go of the familiar.

“It’s okay to let go of people who aren’t positive or reciprocating in your life,” she said. Meri supports the close relationship between Janelle and Christine, which has strengthened since they left the family structure. Looking to the future, Meri expressed her desire to find love and marry again, making it clear she is done with polygamy. “I’ve always wanted only one man, and now I don’t want him to have another woman,” she chuckled. Before their divorce in 2023, Kody and Meri had been married for over 30 years, experiencing several difficult times. They got married in April 1990, and Kody eventually welcomed three more wives—Janelle, Christine, and Robyn Brown—into the family. Their lifestyle became well-known when their TLC reality series debuted in September 2010.

When Kody divorced Meri in September 2014 to legally restructure their family and adopt Robyn’s children, it marked a dramatic turn. Despite the formal divorce, Kody and Meri maintained their spiritual marriage for almost 10 years. In January 2023, they jointly released a statement announcing their difficulty deciding whether or not to permanently split from their spiritual marriage. In a recent episode of Sister Wives, Janelle and Kody squared off for the first time since their pre-holiday battle. Janelle expressed that she wanted to be apart for the time being, but still felt affection for Kody and was open to counseling. Christine, who ended her marriage with Kody in 2021, believes Janelle is not yet ready to completely end the relationship.

Janelle admitted that if Kody changed, she might consider a full marriage again, but she believes it is unlikely due to his character. Christine and Janelle discussed Cody’s changed personality, noting that he used to be dynamic and bold. Now, he promotes patriarchy, which Janelle disagrees with. Christine was the first to end the multiple marriage, followed by Janelle and Meri, leaving Kody legally married only to Robyn. Christine Brown is now enjoying her marriage to David Woolley and asked fans for tips on maintaining a happy relationship.
