Robert Crashes Aaron and John’s Wedding | Emmerdale

dropping, heart-wrenching disaster. As Aaron and John prepare to tie the knot in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by loved ones, everything shatters in an instant. Just as the registrar begins the traditional line—asking if anyone objects to the union—a voice rings out: “I do.”

It’s John.

The room goes silent. A stunned Aaron looks at the man he loves as John steps forward and begins an emotional tirade. John accuses Aaron of lying to him—again and again. He claims he can’t trust Aaron anymore and delivers the crushing blow: he will not marry him.

The betrayal is raw, and Aaron’s confusion quickly turns into heartbreak. It’s revealed that Aaron had gone to see his ex, Aiden, on the morning of their wedding—without telling John. While Aaron insists it wasn’t a romantic visit, John sees it as the final straw in a relationship riddled with secrets. Aaron pleads for understanding, explaining that Aiden’s mother reached out in desperation after her son, previously unresponsive, had started saying Aaron’s name. Aaron says he went to the hospital to support her, not to reignite anything with Aiden.

But John is unmoved. He’s tired of half-truths and emotional manipulation. Aaron tries to salvage what’s left, expressing how deeply he loves John, but the damage is done. John walks away, and it seems the wedding is off.

Back at the wedding venue, chaos unfolds. Guests start to wonder where the grooms are. The celebrant is getting antsy, and the delay leads to confusion. Meanwhile, drama brews behind the scenes. McKenzie, who was supposed to be best man, is missing in action—again—and Aaron’s wedding ring is nowhere to be found. In the end, it’s Paddy who steps up. Aaron asks him to take McKenzie’s place, and the emotional moment between them tugs at long-time fans’ heartstrings. Paddy, a father figure to Aaron, accepts without hesitation.

Then, when it seems the ceremony might finally proceed—ring or no ring—Robert shows up.

Robert Sugden.

The man from Aaron’s past. The man who once meant everything.

His unexpected appearance stops the ceremony cold. With a smirk and a haunting “Miss me?”, Robert’s return promises a whole new level of drama. What does he want? Why now? And what will it mean for Aaron and John’s already fractured relationship?

As the episode ends, we’re left with more questions than answers—and a love triangle that just exploded into a love catastrophe.
