Tensions reach a boiling point at No.41 this week in EastEnders, as Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) reels from a series of emotional blows, starting with the news of her estranged daughter Ash’s engagement. But just as she begins to regain some control, a devastating betrayal from within her own home leaves her stunned.
When Suki hears about Ash’s engagement, old wounds are reopened. Still heartbroken over their fractured relationship, Suki takes out her pain on Vinny, snapping at her loyal son in a moment of bitterness. The atmosphere is icy until Eve steps in, offering Suki a dose of tough love and reminding her of the importance of family, no matter how broken it may seem.
Taking Eve’s advice to heart, Suki tries to make amends with Vinny and extends an olive branch. But her efforts at peace are short-lived when she discovers that Vinny has been secretly planning to attend Ash’s engagement party behind her back. Feeling blindsided and betrayed, Suki confronts him, and what follows is a furious row between mother and son.

During the emotional outburst, Vinny drops a painful bomb, accusing Suki of driving Ash away and calling out her failings as a mother. His words hit hard, and for once, Suki is left speechless.
But the drama at No.41 doesn’t end there. With the Panesars already on edge thanks to Ravi’s latest legal woes, including a tense police raid and ongoing silence from Ravi himself, the family unit is under pressure from all sides. While Priya scrambles to cover Ravi’s tracks by enlisting Harry’s help to move hidden drugs, Kojo steps in to assist, risking everything to protect the family’s secrets.
Meanwhile, Avani has secrets of her own. Clearly distracted and withdrawn, she convinces Barney to accompany her to Harry’s Barn, where she takes a pregnancy test, and the result leaves her stunned. She’s pregnant.

Although she attempts to confide in Priya, Avani ultimately holds back. But later, Suki catches her looking at a family planning website and confronts her. In a rare moment of vulnerability, Avani reveals the truth, she’s pregnant and planning to have an abortion. The admission throws Suki into emotional turmoil once more, adding yet another layer of complexity to her already strained family relationships.
And in the midst of it all, Suki finds herself needing Eve more than ever. After a period of coldness and detachment, Suki finally reaches out, apologising for her distance and reaffirming her bond with Eve, perhaps the one person who truly sees her for who she is.
As emotions boil over and secrets threaten to unravel the Panesars from the inside, Suki must face the consequences of past decisions and confront the very real possibility of losing the people she loves the most.
