On June 21, Joshua Morrow celebrated 30 years on The Young and the Restless playing Nick, a role he took over from John Nelson-Alden back in 1994. And last Friday, the CBS soap paid tribute to the actor by showcasing his character in a Nick-centric episode.
Morrow doesn’t have much of a social media presence so when he does pop in from time to time, it’s for a good reason and his most recent post was meant to send a very special message to all of his fans…
“I just wanted to throw a big thanks for the outpouring of support and love from my 30th!” Morrow stated then went on to express, “It’s been truly a magical ride and my deep appreciation for you guys is massive.” He thanked fans for sticking by him — “and your boy Nick” — throughout the years then added, “I love playing him and it’s been an incredible honor!”
Thirty years is a long time, filled with tons of memories… Do you have what it takes to answer some trivia surrounding Nick and others from daytime’s No. 1 soap?
In case you haven’t heard, the apple doesn’t fall far the tree… Morrow is a proud father to three sons and a daughter with wife Tobe, who he married in 2001. And their boy Crew just landed himself a role on The Bold and the Beautiful. It’s not just any role… He’ll be playing the SORASed Will Spencer, the son of Bill and Katie, who, incidentally, played Morrow’s onscreen sister Victoria for years over in Genoa City.
