In Wednesday’s episode, Tom encouraged Belle to take their dog Piper for a walk while he secretly attended a job interview for a position in Wales.

Meanwhile, Belle encountered Charity in the village. Charity tried to reconcile with Belle after their argument earlier in the week, offering her support, but Belle brushed her off. During the job interview, Tom was informed that the position would be in a very remote part of Wales. This only excited him further, as it would allow him to isolate Belle even more. When Belle returned home, Tom attempted to deceive her into agreeing to move to Wales by claiming it would just be a holiday.
