EastEnders is set to air tense scenes for Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) next week when she is forced to face the music about her killer secret.
The BBC soap previously revealed that Nicola was responsible for the murder of her eldest son Harry’s (Elijah Holloway) former girlfriend Shireen, who had been missing for four years.
Audiences watched as Nicola found out that her violent crew had hidden Shireen’s body by burying it in an abandoned warehouse in Dartford, Kent, a place once home to the extended Mitchell family.
After mending her relationship with Nicola, Teddy planned to start a business venture with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) in the Dartford area. However, Nicola tried to dissuade him, fearing her secret might be uncovered.

Next week, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) demands answers from Nicola about the circumstances surrounding Shireen’s untimely death four years ago.
When the businessman insists that their son Harry deserves to know the truth about his former girlfriend, Nicola protests that it will send him off the rails.
Teddy is reluctantly forced to keep quiet, but younger son Barney (Lewis Bridgeman) realises something is going on between his parents, and unwittingly gives his mum Nicola food for thought.
Later in the week, Teddy finds Nicola and orders her to stop whatever she’s doing, as he’s got another plan.
Teddy pauses work at the site, and he and Nicola do a deal with gangster Benji, who knows about Shireen’s death.
Nicola decides to sell Harry’s Barn to pay Benji, but then Teddy comes up with another solution.
But she is incredulous over whatever Teddy has done, and this leaves the pair navigating a very tricky situation.
The situation appears to get worse when Nicola is ambushed by an intruder while alone at Harry’s Barn.
There, Nicola faces a reckoning, but has someone found out that she had Shireen killed? Is Nicola in danger?
EastEnders will have to wait and see.
