1. Debbie receives some unexpected news

Debbie attends an appointment with a private doctor and opens up over the recent issues she has faced with her memory. She believes that it’s due to menopause, but the doctor suggests that she may have had a mini-stroke.

The doctor goes on to explain that Debbie could have vascular dementia, so she’ll need to undergo more tests. Debbie is encouraged to be honest with her partner Ronnie from the outset, but she ignores this advice and goes straight back into work mode at the hotel.

2. Ronnie proposes to Debbie

Oblivious to Debbie’s secret appointment, Ronnie plans to propose to her and tells Tim all about it. Tim is later forced to admit that he accidentally let the news slip to Debbie.

Later at the hotel, Ronnie gets down on one knee and proposes to Debbie. After her recent news, will she accept?

3. Kevin’s surprise feud continues

Kevin and Tyrone remain at odds after falling out over bad behaviour from Jack and Hope. Tyrone tries to make amends, but loses patience when Kevin seems determined to continue the pettiness.

In a nasty exchange at the pub, Tyrone finally reaches breaking point by branding Kevin nasty and selfish. Seeing red, Kevin lashes out.

4. Abi is next to face Kevin’s anger

Abi confronts Kevin over his uncharacteristic behaviour. She’s shocked when he loses his temper with her next, making some very cruel remarks.

Abi and Tyrone compare notes about Kevin’s actions, noting that he seems to be trying to make them hate him. Tyrone persists with trying to rebuild his friendship with Kevin, urging him to stop bottling up his fears over his illness and speak more honestly with everyone.

5. Carl Webster arrives

Kevin and Debbie’s younger brother Carl arrives in Weatherfield. When he tries to steal Abi’s space in the Freshco car park, she’s unaware of his identity and angrily confronts him.

The row soon spirals out of control. An emotional Abi shouts that her husband has cancer and she was only visiting the supermarket to pick up anti-sickness meds for him. She then lashes out, leaving Carl with a bloodied nose.

Abi immediately regrets resorting to violence and spies her chance to make amends when Carl’s car won’t start.

As Abi tries to help out, Carl suddenly changes his tune and flirts with her – branding her funny and gorgeous. How will Abi feel when Carl invites her out for a drink?

6. Abi gets more than she’d bargained for

Abi returns home to the cobbles and tells Kevin, Debbie and Ronnie all about her eventful day. She mentions the troublesome driver, but deliberately leaves out the attraction between them.

Abi pops to the loo at the Bistro, but when she returns, she’s shocked to find Carl talking to the others. As Abi finally realises that Carl is Kevin and Debbie’s brother, will she come clean about him being the man she met?

7. Todd discovers Theo’s secret

Theo apologises to Todd for harshly rejecting him after they’d spent the afternoon in bed together. Todd accepts the apology and invites Theo back to the Grimshaw house again.

Later, Theo makes a surprise appearance at Shuttleworths’ to arrange a funeral. This leads to his big secret finally being revealed, much to Todd’s shock.

When Todd confides in Billy about his discovery, sceptical Billy advises him to steer well clear of Theo.

8. Dee-Dee is honest with the midwife

Dee-Dee confides in Sarah about the poor treatment she received at the hospital on the day she gave birth. She now wants to take a stand and make a positive change, to make sure that no other women have the same upsetting experience.

Later, the midwife pays a visit to Dee-Dee, who speaks candidly about her feelings over what happened.

9. Gemma is caught lying to Lou

Gemma tries to create some distance between herself and Lou, following the various warnings she has received about the new nightmare neighbours. She cancels a lunch date with her new friend, making out that one of the quads is unwell.

Later, Lou spots Gemma in the café and demands to know why she isn’t taking care of her supposedly sick child.

10. Concern grows for Dylan

Betsy receives a worrying call from Dylan, who’s starting to struggle in the Secure Training Centre. She tips off Sean about how Dylan may not be coping.

Later, Sean visits Dylan, but his teenage son makes out that Betsy overreacted to his earlier call.

11. Tyrone’s son returns

Tyrone returns home from a trip to the pub to find that his son Dorin is there.

He’s delighted as Fiz explains that Alina has turned to them for help as her home is flooded. As Alina needs to concentrate on the repair work, Dorin will be staying for a few weeks.

12. Tim has a big idea for Sally

Tim tells Sally that he’d like them to consider opening their home to a foster child. Sally is unsure and Hope is furious when she hears them talking about not wanting to look after a troubled youngster like her.

Later, Sally and Tim discuss the matter further, but they’re shocked when Hope and Ruby prank them by throwing a water balloon over the fence and filming their reaction.

Afterwards, Tim ignores Sally’s reservations over the fostering idea by booking himself in for an information session.

13. Hope discovers Cassie’s secret

Cassie tries to get everyone out of the house so she can enjoy some time alone with Steve.

Later, Hope and Ruby return home and find the secret lovers half-dressed. Hope tries to strike a deal with Cassie, suggesting that they keep quiet about what they’ve each been doing.

14. Jenny receives more bad news

Carla warns Jenny that she intends to sell The Rovers so she can pay back the money she borrowed to make the kidney transplant happen. Jenny is shocked and begs Carla for first refusal on the pub.

Meanwhile, Daisy and Christina continue to fool Jenny by sending her some champagne, supposedly from her online admirer Dominic’s vineyard.

15. Kit tries to move on from Daisy

After his romantic connection with Daisy turned sour, Kit looks to move on by flirting with Sarah at The Rovers.

Sarah plays hard to get, but could she be interested in Kit?

16. Todd makes a plan for Julie

Todd asks Julie if they can set up a crowdfunding page, wanting to send her on a dream holiday before it’s too late.

Eileen praises Todd’s idea, but can they make it work?
