New Emmerdale spoilers have delighted fans by revealing the date Robert Sugden will return to our screens once more.

Robert returned to the village for a few episodes last month before heading back behind bars.

But, now he’s about to return and this time on a permanent basis. Phew.

Emmerdale spoilers reveal Robert Sugden return date

After six years, Robert Sugden returned to the village last month to put a stop to Aaron and John’s wedding.

However, Aaron ended up marrying John anyway. Robert was then arrested and sent back to prison for missing his probation meeting. The things you do for love…

Now though, spoilers have confirmed that Robert will be back on our screens next week. Yes, that soon.

Victoria Sugden decides to visit Robert in prison on Monday night (June 16), but Aaron can’t face joining her.

When Vic tells Aaron that Robert’s in a state, Aaron visits his ex-husband after all on Tuesday night as we see the two reunite once more.

John though is always close by (when is he ever not?), and he goes to visit Robert too. He then threatens him after finding out about his and Aaron’s kiss on his wedding day.

Robert’s suspicious though when he enters the village later in the week, a free man once more. He then makes it clear that he’s not going anywhere… Great news for us, awful news for John Sugden.

Emmerdale fans thrilled as Robert’s return is confirmed

With Robert now heading back to the Dales ‘for good,’ Emmerdale fans are really excited. They didn’t expect him to be reappearing so soon, and neither did we!
