Christine In November last year, a lot of TLC fans slammed Christine and Janelle Brown because of the way they treated Meri. Neither of them could get along with Kody’s former first wife. And, they made no secret of it. Instead, they left her to cozy up to Robyn Brown. Ultimately, that didn’t help her to stay on with Kody, and she finally moved on. Meri Brown didn’t get along particularly well with the Sister Wives kids either. Some of the kids spoke out after Christine’s son Paedon claimed that she was abusive. The story never really went anywhere and seems to have been forgotten now. However, if that was true, then it might account for why Janelle and Christine weren’t her besties. Recently, Kody Brown’s former first wife chatted with Rachel Uchitel of the Miss Understood podcast on YouTube. She talked a bit about Robyn Brown and Kody remaining monogamous before she discussed a few other things. Of note, she went into some detail about Janelle Brown and Christine Brown. Remember, Janelle couldn’t even bring herself to travel in the same car at one point. Meri Brown didn’t attend Christine Brown’s wedding, but did they all become friends again? Well, it seems that’s not likely to happen. The TLC star said: When I see them we have cordial conversations…but I don’t seek them out to have a relationship.

I feel like [we] had a lot of time to be able to do that. I have a lot things that I’m working on myself and I think it’s really, really important to be surrounded by the people that really encourage that. Sometimes people are just in your life for a season and it’s okay to let them go. If the relationship is not reciprocal and it’s not building me up or building them up, it’s okay not to force it. The Sister Wives star also added that it took some time to realize that just because they were “family” didn’t mean they were besties. She noted it’s “okay” not to “stick together.” In the comments section, some people felt that Meri Brown sidestepped some issues. Additionally, they complained about the sound quality. Others felt that nothing new came from it. After all, most people already know that Janelle Brown and Christine are not close to her.
