Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) has finally confessed the gory details surrounding Shireen Bashar’s murder.
In yesterday’s episode, the police had arrested her associate Benji (Carl Prekopp) for the crime, but had some serious questions for the Mitchell clan.
They wanted to know why Nicola’s bracelet had been found on Shireen’s body and why Benji had been handed £20k after receiving some dodgy messages on a burner phone.
Nic managed to create a credible cover story, but it was clear that eldest son Harry (Elijah Holloway) doubted her.
In a shocking twist, he confronted his mother in the bar and branded her a ‘liar’.
In todays episode, Nicola pleaded with Harry, asserting that Benji was the one who killed his girlfriend.
Shireen’s brother Asad had been in touch and explained that Shireen had never been gifted a bracelet from Nicola, which cast even more doubt on her innocence.
Deranged and crazed, Harry grabbed Nic’s face before kissing her on the head, assuring her that no matter how hard their conversation will be, he could handle the truth.
A broken man, his unpredictable and frenzied actions began to terrify Nicola, and she begged him to stop.
Teddy (Roland Manookian) arrived to break up the confrontation, to which Nicola admitted that Benji was hired by her to kill Shireen.
Harry begged his father to put him first for once, saying that they should head to the police station and report her.

However, it seems like that ship has sailed. Harry threatened to bury both of them, and told his parents that as far as he’s concerned, they’re dead to him.
Realising that the situation was only going to get worse if she kept quiet any longer, Nicola admitted to Teddy that she accidentally murdered Shireen.
With the truth now out, she wanted Ted’ to promise that he wouldn’t tell Harry.
