Emmerdale viewers reckon they’ve sussed out the real identity of Kim Tate’s latest flame, Eddie, and it’s a soap icon making a comeback.
Kim (portrayed by Claire King) has been the femme fatale of the village since her arrival in 1989, embroiled in numerous explosive plots. Her Emmerdale tenure has been peppered with high-stakes feuds and even a staged demise, ensuring never a dull moment.
Kim’s love life has been equally eventful, from her tumultuous relationship with Frank Tate (Norman Bowler) to her recent whirlwind with Will Taylor (Dean Andrews).
Tragically, Christmas saw Will succumb to a heart attack just as the couple recommitted their love, leaving Kim devastated.
Since then, she’s buried herself in work, but whispers of a fresh romance surfaced last week when Kim was caught sending cheeky texts to a certain Eddie.
Their banter over culinary delights and an off-screen evening call hinted at a budding connection, with Eddie expressing he was “thinking of her” and Kim eager for their next rendezvous, reports Belfast Live.
However, fans are buzzing with theories that Eddie is none other than Kim’s supposedly deceased ex, Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough), who was written out in 2020. A fan on an Emmerdale Facebook group speculated: “Calling it now, Graham didn’t really die and he’s back from the dead and he is ‘Eddie’.”
Another viewer added, “I really hope so. Killing him off was a big mistake.”
