Jared Padalecki’s debut as Camden Casey in Fire Country season 3,
episode 5 highlighted one sad truth previously gone undetected
about Bode’s Edgewater life. From the first moment Camden arrived
to Edgewater, Fire Country season 3 established his different, but practical approach. This was evident in the fight he joined in Bode’s place after Diego’s friends baited him, stopping it as early as possible and still protecting Bode’s parole. Fire Country season 3, episode 5 went on to reveal how well-paired Camden and Bode also were in the field, which unfortunately revealed the harsh truth of Bode’s life in Edgewater.Between attending the plane crash and having to rehome its passengers in Edgewater until the next day, the start of Bode and Audrey’s phase 3 training proved particularly challenging. However, that didn’t seem the case for Bode himself, who bravely and dangerously tackled the cockpit fire, happily following Camden’s directives. While Bode was happy to be allowed to run toward the danger at last, Vince, Sharon and Jake all opposed Camden’s methods, with Jake even going as far as voicing his concerns to Camden at the crash site. The ordeal thus unwittingly revealed a worrying pattern Bode’s loved ones followed.
