Coronation Street actress Tina O’Brien and her husband Adam Crofts are rumoured to have parted ways. Speculation has been rife in recent weeks about the status of the relationship of the star, known for her role as Sarah-Louise Platt on the popular ITV soap.

The couple first started dating in 2011 and got married in 2018. However, fans began to suspect that the couple had ended their relationship after noticing several hints recently. A source revealed: “Tina and Adam have ended their relationship and are spending some time apart.”

The first clear sign was that Tina ditched her wedding ring. She shared photos on social media wearing a stunning red dress, paired with a sparkling silver handbag and matching high heels.Yet, in a selfie she posted on her Instagram Stories, both hands were clearly visible- without a wedding ring.

This sparked further speculation about a potential split announcement, leaving fans surprised as the couple had been together for more than ten years.

On Monday afternoon, Tina was spotted grabbing a coffee in Cheshire. The mother-of-two chose to wear Adidas trainers, jeans and dark sunglasses while enjoying a drink with her dog – again, her wedding ring was noticeably absent from her left hand.

Tina sparked separation rumours when she went on a Barbados holiday with her 16 year old daughter Scarlett, sans her now-estranged husband. This trip seemed to fuel further speculation about their marital status, reports the Mirror.

Fans then noticed Tina and Adam had stopped following each other on social media, raising eyebrows about the state of their union.Despite the growing whispers, it emerged that Tina and Adam parted ways months before the rumours started swirling. An insider confided to The Sun: “They moved house at Christmas and have decided to live separately for the time being.”

The source also mentioned that despite the breakup, they maintain a harmonious relationship. “Tina and Adam are on good terms, they’re still close and are committed to being a family, even if they’re not together,” the source revealed to the newspaper.

The last time Tina shared an image featuring her partner on social media was earlier this year, posting familial photos, including Adam, with the caption: “We managed to move house and celebrate Christmas, full on couple of weeks but worth it. “Admitting a lapse in her social media activity, she expressed a New Year’s wish “I didn’t seem to remember to take many photos this year. NY res take more photos!”

Following that, her posts showcased her holiday in Barbados, thereafter keeping mum on the split speculation. Insiders hint that contrasting lifestyles were a key factor in the rumoured separation between Adam and Tina.

One source revealed: “Adam and Tina lead very different lives. He is really into his fitness, while she really enjoys going out with her mates and having a dance, which just isn’t for him.” They noted that although it wasn’t a problem at first, as their children grow up, these differences have become more noticeable.
